Ajax an owner surrender to an animal shelter in Colorado in January 2014. He was so underweight that he was taken into a foster home in Denver by the Western Australian Shepherd Rescue and rehabbed back to health. He is an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix and was 2 years old at the time he was given up, and subsequently adopted by me, about 2 months after he arrived at his foster home. He now lives with me in the Seattle area, with an older corgi sister and a younger border collie brother.

rescue_dubick_1He is the most amazing, sweetest boy and I can’t imagine life without him. He loves agility! He loves going to his agility class! He loves to play with other dogs and chase squirrels. He loves cheese, popcorn and pretzels! His tail wags up and down like a pom-pom instead of side-to-side, and his tail has its very own fan club. Everyone knows Ajax by his tail and his wonderful personality.

And this year, I am so proud to be running him in both his and mine first ever Cynosport!!
