Good Morning from Cynosport! It is going to be a great day of finals!

Today we will be running:

Dog Agility Masters Team 2 & 3 Dog Relay
Steeplechase Finals (all heights)
Grand Prix Finals (all heights) & Veterans Showcase

Schedule Overview (running orders are linked inline): 

8:00am Briefing

8:15-8:55am Open Walk-thrus. Competitors may walk the courses in the timing that works best for your preparation. Please limit yourself to 10 minutes in each ring.

  • Rings 2: 2-Dog Team
  • Ring 4: 3-Dog Team
  • Ring 1: Steeplechase 

9:00am Run 2-Dog Relay & 3-Dog Team Relay – Rings 2 & 4

10:00am Steeplechase Finals – Ring 1 (begins after Rings 2 & 4 are complete). If you have not yet picked up your finals shirt please do so at the Awards Tent this morning. Steeplechase placement awards will take place after each height runs.

The awards presentations below will happen during the build for Grand Prix. Those with placements please be ready ringside. We will proceed with each category in the order below. Timing is approximate – we will start the next category as soon as the previous category is finished:

~12:15pm Masters Challenge Biathlon Awards – The top 3 dogs and handlers (Performance & Championship) in each height should be ready ringside for the awards presentation and podium photographs. In addition, placement ribbons will be awarded through 6th place (Handlers in 4th – 6th should also plan to be present to receive their ribbons).

~12:35pm Strategic Games Awards – The top 3 dogs and handlers (Individual Overall after Team Gamblers & Snooker) in each height.  

~12:55pm Team Awards – The top 3 of both 3-Dog Teams and 2-Dog Teams should be ready with their dogs for podium photographs. In addition, placement ribbons and batons will be awarded through 6th place (Handlers in 4th – 6th should also plan to be present to receive their ribbons), and commemorative finalist batons will be presented to all remaining handlers that ran in the relay final.

~1:05pm Hall of Fame, Volunteer of the Year, and LAA Diamond Awards

~1:15pm Walk Veterans All-Around Showcase & Grand Prix 

  • Walk 1 (1:15pm): Veterans & 8, 10, 12, 14, 16
  • Walk 2 (1:25pm): 20, 22, 24

~1:40pm Veterans Showcase – Veterans Showcase shirts are available at the Awards Tent for pickup in this morning. Veterans placement awards will take place after each height runs.

~2:00pm Grand Prix Finals – If you have not yet picked up your finals shirt please do so at the Awards Tent. Grand Prix placement awards will take place after each height runs.
